The paradigm is a model of thinking or a way of approach with which reality is analysed and investigated. Based on a scientific demand it claims to be the true picture of reality - but in general it leads to modification or change of reality itself.
Macro-images of the interior or of different parts of flutes alternating with panoramic recordings of clouds and sunbeams provide the visual background to reflect on the personal circumstances of the artist living in an environment of a language that is not the mother tongue.
The purely aural aspect of languages or the confusion arising from thinking or communicating in two languages is articulated in dreams or situations experienced by the artist, which she narrates simultaneously overlapping Spanish and German.
As a link between the images and the spoken texts, the flute improvisations, the music, act as a universal language. |
