Ebba Rohweder, composer and video artist, has been experimenting with electroacoustic music and images for several years, achieving in her video compositions a magical assembly that bears fruit in works charged with poetics, capable of striking the human soul. In these video compositions, the music is not subordinated to the image, but rather both elements form a whole, destroying the hierarchical relations in which other types of audiovisual manifestations usually move.
Electroacoustic music, generated through analogue recordings digitally manipulated by the artist herself, is the main axis in these creations, around which a series of images are structured to complement it. These images, also altered a posteriori, have diverse origins and on many occasions an organic aesthetic that reproduces abstract forms, introducing pictorial qualities into these creations. The atmosphere created through these elements transcends sensations about human existence, life or feelings in an aesthetic game that practically caresses all the senses.
Rohweder's idea for this exhibition is to bring together the disciplines she usually deals with. The exhibition will include a video projection, radio plays, the projection of some of these video compositions, a sound installation for the bathroom, performance, concerts and lectures.

Performance by Nieves Correa "I am very interested in the idea of working on a space created by another person, a space in a broad sense, both physical and mental. A frame of reference that Ebba proposes to me and that makes me reflect on my own work and on whether it is possible to "amplify" it by "amplifying" hers.
I am going to work with very simple materials that have been coming out of her videos to reach my hands, my mouth, my head. Silence and water."
